What is MM2H?

Malaysia My Second Home, or MM2H, is a long-stay visa programme initiated by the Malaysian government to drive foreign investment, tourism and economic growth.

MM2H welcomes skilled individuals, investors, retirees, even digital nomads to make Malaysia their home away from home. MM2H offers numerous benefits such as property ownership, tax exemptions on offshore income, access to world-class education and health care for spouse and dependents.

The MM2H programme is operated under the purview of the Ministry of Tourism & Culture (MOTAC) and the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

All MM2H applications are submitted through MM2H agents licensed by the Ministry of Tourism & Culture.

Who we are

Metro Homes (MM2H) Sdn Bhd was established in 2006. We obtained our MM2H license from the Ministry of Tourism & Culture in 2007 enabling us to offer consultancy services to MM2H applicants.

The MM2H programme was updated in 2024 and Metro Homes (MM2H) was once again certified by the Ministry of Tourism & Culture as a licensed agent.

Every applicant is different. Our mission is to work closely with our clients to better understand their needs and to help them achieve their objectives in securing a MM2H visa in Malaysia.

Why Malaysia?

Malaysia is beautiful

From towering skyscrapers to white sand beaches, Malaysia is a true reflection of the vibrancy and natural beauty of South-East Asia. From the lively energy of the capital city of Kuala Lumpur to the 130-million-year-old rainforest of Taman Negara and idyllic dive sites of the Sipadan Island in East Malaysia, there is something for everyone in Malaysia – a country that is truly Asia.

Why Malaysia?

Malaysia is vibrant

Since the 1960s, Malaysia’s economy has grown steadfastly. The recovery from the pandemic in 2020 was swift with four consecutive years of GDP growth, achieving 5.1% in 2024. Malaysia transitioned from commodity-based to a trade-oriented multi-sector economy featuring strong exports of electrical and electronics, including semiconductors, supported by digital services and tourism sectors.
